Frank Godden

Frank Godden Limited, is a luxury stamp album manufacturer, producing what many collectors, over the years, have considered the finest stamp albums made.



The background design to many of the pages on this site is the famous block of sixty Penny Blacks from the exceedingly rare plate 11, complete with marginal inscriptions, sold through Frank Godden in the 1930's.

At the time it was considered the rarest philatelic piece in the world.

It no longer exists, having been broken up into smaller parts many years ago.
